Obituary of Frank E. Hernandez

Our beloved Frank E. "Kiko" Hernandez, age 96, resident of Austin, was born into Eternal Life on Tuesday, January 28, 2020. He is reunited with his loving wife, Julia Guerra Hernandez; his step-son, George Rodriguez; his parents, Francisco Hernandez and Leonora Esquivel Hernandez; and his siblings, Pete Hernandez, David Hernandez, Michael "Shorty" Hernandez, Ricardo Hernandez, Juanita Villanueva, Rosa Covarrubias, and Conselo Guerra. 

Kiko is survived by his son, Joe V. Hernandez, and his wife, Georgia; his step-son, Jose Rodriguez, and his wife, Dolores; his grandchildren, Stephanie Gatica, and her spouse, Samuel, and Steven Hernandez; and his great-granddaughter, Sirena Gatica; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends. 

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m., on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. 

Mass of Christian Burial will take place the following morning, Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1206 East Ninth Street, Austin, Texas. 

Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
