Obituary of Celeste Breann Tovar - Rangel

Our Beloved Celeste Breann Tovar-Rangel, age 24, of Austin, Texas, was called Home on Friday, January 3, 2020.

Celeste loved listening to her Latin Hip Hop, Little Suzi and being around family and friends.

She is survived by her beloved parents, Emiliano and Theresa Rangel; sisters, Caitlyn Rangel and Ciara Rangel; maternal grandparents, Maria and Domingo Castillo Jr. and Felix and Molly Tovar III; paternal grandparents Alfred and Bessie Rangel; caregiver Theresa Davis; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other family and friends that loved her.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at St. Julia Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Felix Tovar IV, Jacob Tovar, Jonathan Cruz, Mark Morgan, Christopher Sanchez, and Benny Ochoa. Honorary pallbearer will be Alfred Rangel Jr.

We would love to thank the Staff of Dell Children’s Hospital from the ER, PICU, 3 and 4 Central, and 4 South. You guys were amazing and took great care of our daughter!
