Obituary of Vicenta G. Niño

Our beloved Vicenta G. Niño, age 87, was called to our Heavenly Father on Friday, December 6, 2019.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Jesus Niño; her parents, Ormides and Alvina Gomez; her brother, Victor Gomez, and sisters, San Juana Gomez and Feliz Martinez.

Vicenta is survived by her loving children, her sons, Richard Niño and his wife, Virginia, Roberto Niño and his wife, Grace, Ray Niño, and his wife, Paula, Oscar Niño and his wife, Deborah, and her daughter, Sandra Niño; 36 beautiful grandchildren, 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren; her siblings, Isabel Gonzales, Roy Gomez, Jesse Gomez, and Margaret Arriaga, and many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 11, 2019 with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 9322 FM 812, Austin, Texas.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35, Austin, Texas.
