Hey Albert,
I'm really going to miss you. I still expect to get a text saying "F****** aggies" at any time, day or night. So easy to be around you, and so fun! I don't think we were ever together and we did not laugh. A lot. At almost anything. The trips all over Texas. We could, and did, talk about all kinds of topics, intelligently of course. We could sit in silence comfortably, jam out to our 70's bands, or listen to George Lopez, in Spanish no less. You were more like a brother than a friend. And I will miss you dearly bro. But every time I think about you I will smile. You were that kind of person. I only hope I can be like that.
Adios Amigo

In my early months as a new trainer at TWC, Albert was one of the most helpful people I met. He would patiently sit with me as I worked through a report or form or tedious time-sheet entry. I soon realized how intelligent, articulate, and funny he was. As the years passed, he became one of my favorite coworkers of all time. He was always game for a bit of foolishness, and he brightened our days with his kindness and humor. As another coworker said, "Everyone loves Albert." Yes, and we're heartbroken that he left us so soon. My sincerest condolences to Frances and his family.

I am so shocked to hear of my dear friend being called home to our Lord. He was one of the kindest and genuine people I had the pleasure knowing. His smile was quick and contagious. I have so many memories of him I will always cherish. I am lifting all of you in prayer.

Our hearts are broken, still cannot believe you have left us. You will always be our ‘brown sugar’ and ‘sweet smooth’. We still have the maple tree you helped plant in our yard. Rest In Peace mi Hermano! Till we meet again...

So sorry for your loss. I will always remember Albert as friendly and kind. Whenever I ran in to him, we would talk about San Antonio, and Trinity and MacArthur football. He was also always ready to help with whatever project we were involved in, and took great pride in helping the people of Texas get training and work.
I am sure I am among may who counted him as a friend, even when I didn't interact with him for years. He will be sorely missed.
May God comfort you and give you strength.

Albert contracted w me ten years ago to handle training on my career site for a project with older people needing employment. They laughed and learned and he made them feel so good and positive. No one I know could be as kind and loving to people and still teach them material that they could carry with them outside the classroom to help themselves.
He so loved meeting Frances and getting married to her. He had a whole new life. Albert was such a joy, and someone we will never forget and will continue to be influenced by in good ways.
