Obituary of Rose Marie Gonzales

Our beloved Rose Marie Gonzales, age 70, was called to our Heavenly Father on Friday, November 22, 2019.  She was preceded in death by her father, Manuel Serrano, Sr.; her sister, Susan Ann Saldivar; her daughter-in-law, Debra Kay Serrano, and sister-in-law, Christine R. Serrano.

Rose Marie is survived by her mother, Cecilia Serrano; her loving children, Jesse Serrano, Roxanne Malagon and her husband, Jose Malagon, and Sonya Gonzales and her husband, Jose Gonzalez; nine grandchildren, Xavier Jesse Serrano, Jordan Jay Serrano, Daniel Albert Bernal, Christopher Muñoz, Edward C. Rivera, Esaiah N. Rivera, Rose Belen Malagon, Elida Marie Malagon, and Jose A. Malagon; three great grandchildren, Eugene Rivera, Elliana Rivera, and Mary Rivera; her siblings, Joe L. Serrano and his wife, Rosie, Beatrice Estrada and her husband, Robert, Christine Serrano, and Manuel "Manny" Serrano, Jr.; her brother-in-law, Jose Saldivar, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, December 1, 2019 with a Prayer Service beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas. 

A Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 2, 2019 also at Mission Funeral Home - South Side.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, Austin, Texas.
