Our beloved Manuela Torres Ybarra, age 74, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday June 23, 2002. Survivors include beloved husband of 48 years, Samuel Ybarra of Austin; daughters, Angie Flores, Virginia Mancilla, Irma Ybarra and Brenda Ybarra all of Austin; sons, Johnny Torres of Austin and George Ybarra of Kyle, TX; sister, Josefa Torres of San Antonio; brothers, Luciano ?Luis? Torres of Florida, Augustine Torres of Wisconsin, Jesse Torres and Encarnacion ?Chon? Torres both of Austin. She is also survived by 22 Grandchildren, 31 Great-grandchildren and One Great-Great-Grandchild. Heartfelt thanks to the staff of Southwood Care Center, Hospice Lone Star, and Dr. Paul Stanberry for their care, love and support given to our mother. Recitation of rosary Wednesday 7:30 pm at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday 2:00pm at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Franciscan Friars to officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are George Ybarra, Jr., Anthony Torres, Eric Ybarra, Danny Salazar, Robert Salazar, Jr., Matt Flores, Jr., Amos Barron, and Bianca N. Ybarra..
