Obituary of Rafelio R. Sanchez, Jr.
Our Beloved Rafelio R. Sanchez, Jr., age 69, of Austin, Texas, was called Home on Friday, November 8, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rafelio Sanchez and Margarita Rendon Sanchez; his brother, Steve Sanchez; and his sister, Amelia Garcia.
He is survived by his children: Hope Soto and her husband Albert, John I. Sanchez, and Valerie L. Gomez; brother, Jesse Sanchez; 8 grandchildren; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side, 6204 South First Street; Austin, Texas 78745.
Committal Services will be held at 9:45 a.m. on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with U.S. Army Honors.
