Our beloved Elisa Sanchez Martinez, age 87, resident of Dallas formerly of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, June 15, 2002.Mrs. Martinez was preceded in death by her beloved Husband Lazaro Martinez, Sisters, Julia S. Rodriguez, Regina Lara, and Lupe Marciel, Brothers, Antonio, Gilbert and Willie Sanchez.
Survivors include: Beloved Children; Primitivo Martinez and wife Janie of Dallas, Texas, Daughter; Mary M. Marek and Husband Adolf of Austin, Sisters; Beatrice Vargas, and Minnie Vargas and a Brother; Pete Sanchez all of Austin. She is also survived by 5 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren.
Recitation of rosary Tuesday 7:00pm at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday 1:00pm at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Franciscan Friars will officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Tom Pena, Ray Pena, Mike Lara, Mark Roth, Tony Tucker and John Angus.
