Our beloved Mother and Grandmother Concepcion Alvarez, age 90, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday June 18, 2002. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Prajedes Alvarez in 1994.Survivors include: Beloved Children; Janie Tello of Austin, Consuelo Guerra and husband Noe of Del valle, and Pedro Alvarez and wife Nellie of Kyle, TX., Sisters Anita Zapata of SanDiego, Calf., Carmen Navarro and Lubina Mendez both of San Antonio, Texas. She is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren and One Great-Great-Grandchild.
Recitation of rosary Thursday 7:30pm at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday 10:00am at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Franciscan Friars will officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
The Alvarez family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr. David Pohl, the Nurses and staff of Specialty Hospital of Austin for their love, care and prayers given to our beloved mother during her illness.
Serving as pallbearers are Frank Alvarez, Adalberto Ledesma, Christopher Tello, Michael Alvarez, Tony Almanza and Javier Moreno.
Honorary pallbearers are Roy Gomez and Joe Moreno.
