I knew Woody briefly down in Key West around 2008. He was a good guy and a friendly person. I got nothing bad to say about him and I'm very sorry to hear of his passing. RIP friend.

A major loss as the Texas Troubadour music scene losses a talent at too young of an age. Time heals wounds but doesn't help fill voids. Woody was a friend of many a radio station and as a small market one in South Dallas we will miss him dearly,

This is a loss of one very talented soul. Woody was an amazing artist and musician. I was glad we sat and talked before this and heard of his travels. To me, he is up in heaven happy and free from everything negative. With his dad. So it is a loss but God called for him to stop suffering. Be thankful.

Woody will be missed dearly. I've been looking at our texts and remembering how hard we laughed at the name of the restaurant, "Snarfs". We made so many jokes about it, we would be in tears laughing. Now, I am in tears because he is gone. I loved him very much.

I am so sorry for the loss of such a bright and shining star of a person. I loved Woody so much. He was a good friend to me over the years. I appreciated his goofy sense of humor and suprisingly wise insights. The last time we talked on the phone, we were making plans to visit the Community First tiny home village. I told him that, when we were teens, I thought that he would be the most successful of our circle of friends because he was so industrious and creative. Everytime I saw him he was creating something. He was hopeful about the future. Now, I think of him dancing and singing with Jesus.

My deepest condolences for all of you, thoughts and prayers. Even though Woody was my son in-law for a short time, I hold a special place for him in my mind and heart. May our Heavenly Father comfort you at this very difficult time.
