Obituary of Louisa Martinez

Our Beloved Louisa Martinez, age 70, of Austin, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, September 9, 2019.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ranulfo and Filomena Torres; husband, Andrew Martinez; granddaughter, Mercedes Cervantes; great-granddaughter, Anastasia Cervantes; and sisters: Anita Torres, Pauline Torres, and Susan Torres.

She is survived by her children, Martha Martinez (Roland L. Diaz), Linda Reyes (Hector), Melissa Hunt (Timothy), Margaret Davila, Anita Serna (John), and Abel Garza; siblings: Frances Mota, Patsy Orona, Agrapina Sanchez, Dorothy Gonzales, Margaret Torres, and Theresa Torres; 26 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Mission Funeral Home – South. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Assumption Cemetery.

The Martinez family has established a GoFundMe LouisaMartinezFuneralExpenses  page to help offset the funeral and burial expense. In addition, there will be a fund raiser event on Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 11:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. at AutoZone 512 W. Stassney Unit 100; Austin, Texas 78745.
