Obituary of Guadalupe Tijerina

Our Beloved Guadalupe A. Tijerina, age 84, was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday September 5, 2019.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, Otto Tijerina; parents, Miguel and Augustina Arrellano; daughter Esperanza Luna; sister Fidencia Rodriguez; brothers, Benito and Pete Arrellano; grandsons Leandro Aguilar and Arthur Martinez; and granddaughter Augustina Torres.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Connie and Joe Aguilar; daughter and son-in-law Angie and Felix Torres; sons: Eddie Tijerina, Jimmy Tirejina, and Felix Tijerina; and sister, Gloria Benitez. Guadalupe is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at Dolores Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
