Our beloved Pedro D. Gonzales, Sr., age 69, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday May 16, 2002.Preceded in death by his mother Juanita Gonzales and a sister Guadalupe Flores. Mr. Gonzales was Head Usher at his beloved Church of San Jose. Survivors include: Beloved wife of 34 years; Marianna Gonzales, Children; Pedro Gonzales, Jr., Ruben Gonzales and wife Lisa, Carmen Gonzales, Mary Helen Gonzales all of Austin, Mary Jane Castillo of Florence, Tx., Father; Sisto Gonzales, Brothers; Larry Gonzales, Manuel Gonzales and Tony Gonzales all of Taylor, Tx., Sisters; Ramona Romo of Waco, TX., Gloria Tamez, Mary Morin both of Taylor, Tx., and Vangie Magana of Taylor, Texas. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, One Great-Grandchild and by numerous nieces and nephews. Recitation of rosary Sunday, 7:00pm at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday 10:00am at San Jose Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Luis Moreno and Deacon Romeo Sanchez will officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
