Obituary of Guadalupe Lopez

Our beloved Guadalupe "Lupe" Lopez, age 78, was called to our Heavenly Father on Friday, August 30, 2019. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Cruz Lopez, Sr.; her parents, Raymundo and Margarita Ruiz; her brother, Raymundo Ruiz, Jr. and her sisters, Bebe Ruiz and Felyz Telles. 

Lupe is survived by her children, Lawrence Lopez, Roy Lopez, Cruz Lopez, Jr., Michael (Michelle) Lopez, Felix Lopez, Sylvia Lopez, Becky Paxtor, and Margaret Lopez; 29 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; her brother, Martin Ruiz; her sisters, Yolanda Ruiz, Maria Ruiz, and Janie Ruiz; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends. 

Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 4, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. Funeral Liturgy will be held the following morning, Thursday, September 5, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., also at Mission Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery.
