Obituary of Julia Lopez

Our Beloved Julia Lopez, age 75, of Austin, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, August 16, 2019.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 27 years, Pete M. Lopez; son Richard “Ricky” Orosco; parents, Deonicio Rodriguez and Cecilia Carrion Rodriguez; brother, Gabe Rodriguez; sister, Dolores Fernandez; and brother Andrew “Clyde” Rodriguez.

She is survived by her children: Rachel (John) Ruiz, Ruben Rodriguez, Regina (Rudy) Martinez, and Nick Lopez; siblings: Gilbert (Janie) Rodriguez, Esther (Gilbert) Acosta, Lupe (Bob) Gregory, Lucy (Julian) Villarreal, Margaret Mercado, Rudy (Estella) Rodriguez, and Norma (Arthur) Rendon; 21 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; as well as numerous other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 23, 2019 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side.

This will conclude services.
