Obituary of Frank G. Tello
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4: 7-8
Frank G. Tello, age 88, entered through the Heavenly gates on Monday, August 5, 2019, at 5:31 AM. He was surrounded by his wife of sixty and a half years, and family who comforted him with much love, prayers, and positive energy.
Frank was a kind and giving man who loved his family and friends. He was a peacemaker. He was a founding member of Siempre Amigos, a non-profit organization that raises funds for college scholarships for underrepresented Latino students. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco P. Tello and Lenora Gonzalez Tello; sons, Rene Anthony Tello and Paul R. Tello; grandson, Jason Dimas, granddaughter Olivia M. Tello; and his siblings.
He is survived by his wife Irene Mendez-Tello; sons: Rusty Tello ( Mary Alice) and Rory Tello ( Jo Ann); daughters: Mary Esther Mendoza (Gilbert), Linda Tello, Brenda Tello Horton (Charles), and Bernadette Tello Streetman (Christopher); twelve grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews to guard his memory.
