Obituary of Roy Rodriguez, Sr.

Our beloved Roy Rodriguez, Sr., age 76, resident of East Austin, was called by to the side of our Heavenly Father on Saturday, August 3, 2019. He was reunited with his grandmother, Trinidad Narro Rodriguez, father, David Rodriguez, Sr., his mother, Locaria Rodriguez Sepeda, and his brothers, Tino and Manuel Sepeda, and his sisters, Anita Perez, Carolina Cantu, and Olivia Gomez. 

Roy is survived by his former spouse, Oralia Galvez; his children, Rosemary Zamora, and her spouse, Felix, Beatrice Rodriguez, and her former spouse, Pete Perez, Betty Jackson, and her spouse, Percy, Rita Young, and her spouse, Anthony, and Roy Rodriguez, Jr., and his spouse, Amanda; 21 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; 20 siblings; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. 

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. 

A Funeral Liturgy will take place the following morning, Thursday, August 8, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at Mission Funeral Home - East Side. Interment will follow at the Rodriguez Family Cemetery in Luling, Texas.
