Our beloved Benjamin Hinojosa, age 79, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, July 24, 2019. He was preceded in death by his son, Gilbert Roy Hinojosa; his sisters, Olivia and Tommie Hinojosa; his brothers, Santiago and Martin Hinojosa; his father, Jose Maria Hinojosa, and his mother, Enriqueta Barba Leyva. 

He is survived by his children, Clarisia Hinojosa Lopez, and Robert Hinojosa; his grandchildren, Tanya Hinojosa Ibarra, Selena Nicole Lopez, and Raul Rudy Lopez III; five great-grandchildren; his sisters, Melina Leyva, Bertha Leyva, and Santos Leyva; his long time companion, Sara Segura; numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Visitation will be on Thursday, August 1, 2019, at 8:00 a.m., at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will at 11:00 a.m. at Dolores Catholic Church, 1111 Montopolis Drive, Austin, Texas. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
