Obituary of Mamie Licon

Our Beloved Mamie Licon, age 54, of Austin, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, July 18, 2019.

She was preceded in death by her step-father Elias Chavez and daughter, Sarah Savannah Sanchez.

She is survived by her children: Jennifer Lopez, Crystal Lopez, Korrie Sanchez, and Selyna Sanchez; mother, Gloria Fonseca Chavez; father, Ortino Licon; siblings, Michael Licon, Ortino Licon, Anthony "Tony" Licon, LoreAnn Carrillo, and Yvette Licon; 6 grandchildren; as well as numerous aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. Thank you! We love you!

Mamie will be lovingly remembered for her delicious food and joyous laughter. She was always happy and ready to have a good time with her family and friends. She was admired for her positive outlook on things, even during difficult times. She will forever be loved and missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side. This will conclude services.
