Obituary of Teresa Castillo Gonzalez

Our Beloved Teresa Castillo Gonzalez, age 75, of Austin, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, June 30, 2019.

She was preceded in death by her father, Blas Castillo and siblings: Catarino Jaime Castillo, Jose Refugio Castillo, and Jose Amadeo Castillo.

Teresa is survived by her beloved husband of over 50 years, Jesse Alvarez; daughter, Juana Maria Gonzalez; her loving mother, Anacleta Gonzalez Moreno; granddaughter, Eva Gonzalez; Siblings: Maria Castillo, Austriberto “Roberto” Castillo, Paula Castillo Aparicio, Andres Castillo, Amelia Castillo, Benito Castillo, Juila Castillo Cantu, Fernando Castillo, and Humberto “JB” Castillo; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 South First Street; Austin, Texas 78745. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 5, 2019 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
