My lovely beautiful grandma... One of the strongest I've known.. You were an amazing person with a huge heart that gave and did alot for everyone and raising all your kids on your own and much more even as they were grown.. Now i know where we get out strength from and i thank and owe it all to you.. Seeing you fight so hard even though you were in so much pain as your last days were coming was very hard to see. There was nothing we could do but deep down we all wanted to make you better.. It was especially hard seeing mom in so much pain being beside your bedside crying and hurting inside. Hearing her telling you it's ok to go now only because she didn't want to see you in pain laying there anymore.. Deep down i know it hurt her to say those words because she was losing her mom the woman who gave her birth, her friend her everything and our grandmother.. Just know she is also a strong woman and is doing an amazing job at preparing for your special day as you would like it to be.. You deserve it all and so much more! I love you grandma and will miss you everyday!

My mother was the strongest woman I ever knew. She had over came so many obstacles in her life and she never let those obstacles make her the person who she was to become. Being her youngest daughter there were always so many memories for her to share with me. I miss her so much, I will always hold in my heart. The night she passed I knew she waited on me. Things were said and songs were sang then she seemed to get calm. The last 15 minutes my spouse and I held her hands and we watched her go peacefully. She not only raised me but she was there to give so much of her love to all 5 of my children. Till her last days she called for them that in itself shows just how great her love was. My sister MaryAnn showed so much strength during the last stages of my Moms illness. My God bless you sister. Now our Heavenly Father has taken our Mother home to rest. Where she will dance with all her loved ones in heaven to celebrate a new life. One day we will see her again so this is not good-bye.
Love always Linda A. Ligues Marciel

To all my Ligues nieces and nephews,
I learned a lot about my sister those 4 days that I sat there and prayed silently for her so that Jesus would send her Angel's to surround her and ease the pain. She suffered a lot but she was a strong woman. She was a strong woman who cared for her sons and daughters and grandchildren. I saw the love and twinkle in her eyes and the love she showed for all as she saw those who gathered around her and asked for those that were not there at that moment. She was a fighter because that is how she raised you'll with love and the care of a mother that gives her all for her children. As we go forward dont forget to say a prayer for her when her memory flashes thru you. May she be at peace now no more pain no more tears.
We would also like to say that Mary Ann was amazing in taking care of her she was on top of it. Always assuring her that all was going to be fine. Telling her not to worry. You have a special place in heaven Mary Ann.
Love you'll Tia Janie n Felix
