Obituary of Augustin Tristan

Our beloved Augustin S. Tristan, age 89, resident of Creedmoor, Texas, was born into eternal life on Thursday, May 16, 2019, just 12 days shy of his 90th birthday. He was preceded in death by his parents Tereso and Paula Zuniga Tristan; his brothers, Jesse Tristan, Alex Tristan, Jose Tristan, Raul Tristan; and his sisters, Baudelia Tristan, and Alicia Tristan; his sister-in-law, Patsy Tristan; and his brothers-in-law, John Quiroz, and Rudy Rodela. 

He is survived by his sisters, Rebecca Quiroz and Julia Tristan; his brothers, Tony Tristan, and Domingo Tristan, and his wife, Josie; his sisters-in-law, Eva Tristan (wife of Alex Tristan), and Eva Tristan (wife of Jose Tristan); numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. 

A special thank you from the entire Tristan Family to nephew, Albert Tobias, and niece, Alice Simon, for their dedicated love and care, and Riverside Healthcare and Rehabilitation, and Maribel with Hospice Care. 

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 20, 2019, with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 11:00 a.m., followed immediately by a Funeral Liturgy at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery in Mendoza, Texas.
