Our beloved Margarito Garcia Guerra, age 78, was called to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, May 12, 2019.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon Guerra and Maria "Nana" Guerra; his daughter, Rachel Guerra Ivicic; son, Paul Amaro; grandson, Reuben M. Guerra; his brother, Henry Aparicio; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Louise Alaniz Gonzales, Marcus Gonzales and his sisters-in-law, Sarah Guerra and Christine Aparicio; and son-in-law, Lynn Willett.

Margarito is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Susie Guerra; his children, David (Leslie) Amaro; Cecilia (Kenny) Robinson, Frances (Raul) Rosales, Steve Guerra, Ruby (Sam) Davila, Paul (Maryann) Guerra, Linda Willett, and Michael (Rosalinda) Guerra; his brothers, Raymond (Mary) Guerra, Abraham Guerra, and John (Melissa) Guerra; sister, Frances (Richard) Martinez; 25 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and one on the way, and one great-great grandchild on the way, and many, many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Friday, May 17, 2019 with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1206 E. 9th St., Austin, Texas.  Public uneral services for Mr. Guerra will conclude with Military Honors at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  Food and fellowship will continue at the American Legion, 4401 E. St. Elmo Rd., Austin, Texas.
