Reading Nikki and Gabi's posts made me tear-up just now; it sounds like you really had such a great time, messing with your grandkids (and other family members, I'm sure). Humor is the great equalizer.
I can't even imagine how painful it is to lose the patriarch - the void that is left behind is so vast. Knowing this, anticipating this, I was crying for you earlier this past week, even though I'd never even met you. I work with your devoted daughter, Sylvia, and have "followed" your journey over the last several months, hoping and praying for you.....wishing the best for you.
It is clear to me that you were so very loved, given the dedication of those who stood beside you. It sounds as though you walked a righteous path.
So.....save a place for us up there in Heaven, if you'd be so kind, because it sure sounds like I would very much ENJOY meeting you whenever my time eventually comes. If you've got jokes the way it seems you always did, I've certainly got the ears for it.
Wishing eventual peace to your family and friends. You will see him again.
