So very sorry to hear of Charlie’s passing. He was a great guy and we enjoyed our visits and phone calls during the years. I know he is greatly missed. i have been trying to reconnect with your family for a couple of years. Connie Pierman and Donna Foster

I always looked forward to visits from Uncle Charlie and Aunty Mary when they visited the UK.
We would visit them at the various bases, where they would take us bowling and show us the American life.
He always had interesting stories to tell, and never minced his words.
"HELL NO MARY" he would always say, and we would giggle at his accent.
I remember going around the car boot sales where his keen eye for antiques was second to none.
He was an amazing person who is now at rest and back with the love of his life, leaving us with happy memories to cherish.

In the evenings we would sit on the porch counting cars and wave to the passing neighbors as they would stroll by before sunset. Jen & Michelle, would stop by with the kids who would greet him as “Mr.Charlie”. He was very fond of cornbread with buttermilk. I will miss him very much.

I can’t publically share my favorite story about Charlie, but I can attest that he would just laugh every time he saw me for the next 35 years. He was a good man with a great sense of humor.
