Obituary of Carlos Soto Ramirez

Our Beloved Carlos Soto Ramirez, age 85, of Austin, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, April 8, 2019.

He was preceded in death by his parents Dario Ramirez and Monica Soto; brother Epifanio Marez; and sisters Porfiria Marez, Preciliana Marez, Francisca Ramirez, Pifania Ramirez, Martina Ramirez, and Cubina Ramirez.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years Magdalena Ramirez; children Petra Perez, Alicia Saucedo, Monica Cruz, Antonio Ramirez, Carlos Ramirez Jr., Maria Elena Rodriguez, Maria De La Luz Tapia, Juan Jose Ramirez, and Cynthia Ramirez; brothers Pedro Ramirez, Dario Ramirez, and Juan Ramirez; sister Concepcion Ramirez; 17 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; as well as numerous other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.  Funeral Mass will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2019 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
