Obituary of Casamira Medrano Guerrero

Our beloved Casamira Medrano Guerrero, age 77 and a resident of Kyle, was born into eternal life on Friday, March 8, 2019. She was preceded in death by three sons, who passed in infancy; her grandson, Robert Hernandez; her parents, Natividad Medrano and Venencia Hernandez Medrano; and her sisters, Emma Rodriguez, Jesusa Jimenez, Delfina Rodriguez, and Olga Medrano.

Casamira is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Ramon Guerrero; her children, Sylvia Guerrero, Nancy Guerrero, Norma Guerrero Torres and, her husband, Alex Torres, Jr.; her grandchildren, Manuel Pantoja, David Gonzales, Alex Torres III, and Michael Torres; her great-grandchildren, Oddie Gonzales, Isaac Torres, Gavin Torres, Evan Pantoja, Peyton Pantoja, Draven Pantoja, and Brooklynn Pantoja; her brothers, Gonzalo Medrano and Luis Medrano; her sisters, Maria Medrano, Oralia Medrano, and Anita Medrano; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. 

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. Funeral Liturgy will take place the next morning, Thursday, March 14, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., also at Mission Funeral Home - East Side. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
