Obituary of Rudolph De La Cruz, Sr.

Our Beloved Rudolph De La Cruz, Sr. age 75, of Austin, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, February 20, 2019.

He was preceded in death by his parents Reyes and Esther De La Cruz; brothers Gilbert De La Cruz, Angel De La Cruz, and Fidel De La Cruz.

He is survived by his children Rudolph De La Cruz Jr. (Christina) and his daughter Judith A. Willis (Bobbi Black); grandchildren Lauren Ann De La Cruz, Leandro De La Cruz, Brandon Willis, and Ashton Black; great-grandchildren Leandro De La Cruz Jr. and Preslee Jordan Hale; brother, Pete De La Cruz; sisters Frances Gonzales, Esther De La Cruz, Linda De La Cruz, and Rosalinda Reyna; and numerous other loving family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Leandro De La Cruz, Sr., Brandon Willis, John Paul De La Cruz, Chris Reyna, Robert Wilson, and Rodney Arredondo.

Honorary pallbearer will be Ashton Black.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Monday, February 25, 2019 with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home – South Side located at 6204 South First Street; Austin, Texas 78745. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
