Obituary of Thomas Arocha

Our Beloved Thomas Arocha, age 81, of Austin, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, February 14, 2019.

He was preceded in death by his son Michael T. Arocha; parents Catarino Arocha and Reina Cervantez Arocha; sister Mary Chapa; and brother Lupe Arocha.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Beatrice M. Arocha; children Ricky M. Arocha, David T. Arocha, Sandra Arocha, Robert Arocha, Eddie T. Arocha; daughters in law Linda Arocha and Gina Arocha; siblings Jimmy Arocha, Tony Arocha, Gloria Aguilar, Catarino Arocha, John Arocha, and Richard Arocha; 20 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and numerous other loving family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Arocha, Eddie T. Arocha II, Erik “Chuckie” Arocha, Mike Castillo, Jeff Arocha, and Ernest T. Arocha. Honorary Pallbearer will be Marc T. Arocha.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 18, 2019 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side located at 6204 South First Street; Austin, Texas 78745. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
