Ascencion Mercado age 15, resident of Austin passed away on Saturday December1, 2001. Ascencion was attending McCallum High School at the time of herSurvivors include: Her beloved parents; Justino and Noemi Mercado, 2 Brothers; Justino Mercado, Jr., and Alejandro Mercado all of Austin, Paternal Grandmother; Asencion Mercado of Mexico, Maternal Grandmother; Esperanza Espino of Minnesota. Asencion is also survived by a host of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Prayer service will be held on Tuesday 7:00pm at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be Wednesday 10:00am at Mission Funeral Home. Pastor Lee Boss will officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are members and friends of the family.
