Obituary of George "Cork" Nuncio
Our Beloved George “Cork” Nuncio, age 58, of Austin, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, January 11, 2019 in Bessemer, Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his father Rosendo Nuncio and brother Ross Nuncio II.
He is survived by his beloved wife Jennifer Rodriguez; children Stephanie M. Nuncio, Ava I. Nuncio, and Aylana Villanueva; mother Alicia R. Nuncio; siblings: Janie (Raul) Salazar, Nora (Peewee) Moreno, Yolanda Nuncio, Norma (Salo) Delgado, Lety (Ben Lugo, Diane (Jose) Cortez, Jennifer Nuncio, Ross (Diane) Nuncio III; grandchildren Nathaniel George Sattler, Jaden N. Sattler, and John C. Sattler; and numerous other loving family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2019 at Mission Funeral Home – South located at 6204 South First Street; Austin, Texas 78745. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
