Obituary of Janie Lara Salas
Our Beloved Janie Lara Salas, age 79, was called to our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, January 9, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years Gilbert Salas Sr., her son Gilbert Salas Jr.; her sister Reyes Lara; and her parents Jose Lara and Regina Sanchez Lara.
She is survived by her sons Jesse Salas, Michael Salas, and Johnnie Salas; siblings Mike Lara, Rudy Lara, Tony Lara, Frank, Rosa Alcoser, Dollie Valdez, and Alice Sientz; 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 8:30 – 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 18, 2019 at Mission Funeral Home – East Side. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 18, 2019 at Dolores Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
