Obituary of Gloria Ann Estrada

Our beloved Gloria Ann Estrada, age 64, was called to our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.  She was preceded in death by her father, Manuel Estrada, Sr. and her sister, Loyola Estrada.

Gloria is survived by her loving mother, Trinidad Segura Estrada; her three children, Georgette Gonzales, Orlando Gonzales, Jr. and his partner, Marylou Rodriguez, and Lisa Gonzales and her husband, Edward Huerta; 14 grandchildren, Angel Gonzales, Chris Gonzales, Sr., Cassie Cuellar, John Gonzales, Analiah Gonzales, Orlando Gonzales, III, Bella Rodriguez and her husband, Antony Moore, Ruben Rodriguez, Jr., Jazlynn Rodriguez, Alexa Gonzales, Alex Gonzales, Jr., Noah Alexander Gonzales, Diamonay Rodriguez, Anthony Rodriguez, Jr., Eric Huerta, and Jacob Huerta; her brother, Manuel Estrada, III, and sister, Mary E. Deleon and her husband, Jerardo; and many other loving family members and friends.

The family has created a fundraising link to help with funeral and cemetery expense.  In advance, the family would like to thank you for your love and support.  In days when we face unexpected tragedy, we lean on our community and our community helps us stand tall. 

In community lies strength of numbers.
to support the sick and the weak.
In community somebody hears me, 
with louder voices to speak.

In community others surround us.
Their dreams, their love and their faces, 
encourage our hearts to remember; 
sometimes our strength lies in others.

In community disaster may come
But, grief shared and faith in our all, 
makes death's pall linger less strongly, 
our tears with others can fall.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 18, 2019, at Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, 3650 S IH 35 Frontage Rd, Austin, TX 78704.  A Scripture Service will be held at 2:00 p.m.  Interment will follow.
