Obituary of Benito Ontiveros, Jr.

Our beloved Benito Ontiveros, Jr., age 54, was called to our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 1, 2019.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 25 years, Teresa Ontiveros, and his mother, Guadalupe Morales.

Benito is survived by his loving sons, Ben Ontiveros and wife, Lorisa Henderson, Brian Fabian, and Lucas Ontiveros and wife, Esmeralda Esquivel; siblings, Mary Esther Salas, Robert Barrera, and Sandra Salas; two grandchildren, Jelani Martinez and Mahayla, and many other loving family members and friends.

Benito worked for over 20 years with Marcelo Sand and Loam.  His passing was unexpected; leaving many who knew and loved him in shock.  He will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 14, 2019 at Mission Funeral Home – East. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Dolores Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
