Maria del Jesus Elizalde, age 82 resident of Austin passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2001. Survivors include: Son: Roberto Elizondo of Austin, Texas., Daughters: Raquel Cardenas of McAllen, Texas., Juanita Rivera of Del Valle, Texas., Carmen E. Sosa of Austin, Texas., one sister: Petra Garza of Pharr, Texas. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Prayer service will be held on Friday November 30, 2001, 7:00 P.M. at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be Saturday December 1, 2001 at 10:00 A.M. at Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Robin Wieber to officiate. Interment will follow in Onion Creek Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Aaron Cardenas, Albert Cardenas, Andrew Cardenas, Adam Cardenas, Robert Elizalde III, Anthony Sosa.
