Obituary of Rafaela Rangel

Our beloved Rafaela “Fela” Rangel, age 97, resident of Del Valle, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, December 22, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years, Reynaldo Argote; her parents, Ponposo and Maria Rangel; children, Maria Luz Argote and Natividad Argote; and siblings, Mateo Rangel and Francisco Rangel.

She is survived by her children, Hilario Argote (Merded), Francisca Aguilera (Alonso), Maria Reyes Argote, Victoria Salazar (Juan), Tomasa Guerra (Trinidad), Nicolasa Morales (Clemente), and Ana Maria Aguilera (Luis); 44 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Mission Funeral Home – East Side located at 1615 E. Cesar Chavez  Street, Austin, Texas 78702. A Scripture Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 28, 2018 at  located at Mission Funeral Home – East Side located at 1615 E. Cesar Chavez  Street, Austin, Texas 78702. Interment will follow at Upper Cedar Creek Cemetery.
