Henry, I didn’t hear about Beverly’s passing until after the services. I would have been there to honor her and yourself
There are few people that I consider true friends. But you and Beverly are two that I have grown to care for deeply. I lost your numbers and really regret it.
You all and others, including my Father are deeply entrenched into the history of Tejano music.
Visiting with you both always yielded conversations that I will always treasure. Please accept my most sincere condolences. I pray that the many many joyful moments that you and Beverly shared will sustain you for the years to come.
God bless her and your Family.

Heartfelt thoughts and prayers to Mr. Maldonado, Rovena, Henry, Javi and all the grandkids. Mrs. Maldonado was an amazing woman with a contagious smile. Along with Mr. Maldonado, she was a pillar in the east Austin community and would make everyone laugh when they went into the record store. Each one of you have her beautiful smile :). May the memories keep you strong and May God Bless each one of you always. Love ya, Rovena---we are here for you always!

My thoughts and prayers are with Henry and the family . There are no words for the
sadness I feel for the loss of this beautiful lady. I have known Beverly and Henry
since my teenage years when I worked with them at the record shop on First St.
Beverly always wanted me to open up a second location with the record shop
next door. I told her I was to young for a business. We haven't seen much of
each other since they left the East side but they were both in my heart and
thoughts always. May you rest in peace my friend. I will remember you always.

I didn’t know Beverly but I’m friends with her daughter Rovena. Beverly had to have been an exceptional mom, wife and friend because her daughter is absolutely adorable, has a heart of gold, a personality to cheer anyone up and a laugh that’s addicting. Those qualities I’m sure didn’t fall far from the tree. Thank you for my beautiful friend Beverly. RIP.

Back in the early 70's, the Maldonados were our backdoor neighbors in Dove Springs. My oldest son loved to met their dog, Wonder Dog, at the back fence. Imagine my surprise when I bought another house in Manchaca and they lived across the street. Beverly was the best neighbor. She loved my grandson in the open, giving way she approached all of life. Bless her. She will be missed.

Mom, I want to thank you for being the most wonderful mother anyone could have ever asked for. You always stood beside us no matter the circumstances. You showed us how to live life to the fullest. You showed us how to laugh until we cried. Most of all, you and dad showed us what true love looked like and how strong it can be. I still can't believe you are not here and wish I could hold your hand again. Feeling that warm soft touch when you pinched my ear always brought me a sense of love and comfort. I want you to know I held your hand as long as I could. Eventhough I had to let it go, I will always hold you in the center of my heart. I LOVE YOU !!!

Beverly, rest in peace, hermana en Cristo. . It is so difficult to say good bye but, of course, it is not good bye, it is "until we meet again." You are now enjoying the glory of God - His face shines upon you, your mission on earth is done and you are home now. Thanks be to Dios Todopoderoso. I will feel your presence in our Guadalupana processions and at Abby's, of course. But we both know you have just been transforrmed and you will be there to greet me when I go home too I know Mr. Henry will do just well because you have loved him until the end, as you promised. Thank you for your love and kindness extended to Sirio and me.
To Beverly's family, be at peace for she is shining like a diamond, He is our refuge and our strength. You are in our prayers.

Our most sincere and deepest condolences go out to the Maldonado Family.
Beverly was such a beautiful lady with a very big heart.
We remember when they owned Maldonado's Record Shop in East Austin, always would greet the customers with that beautiful smile.
What I will miss so much from Beverly will be that every time we would see Beverly & Henry ( at restaurants around Buda or in church) is that she would hug us and then she would say.. Ay Rosita bonita. Que chula. I loved that so much. Rest in Peace beautiful lady. You will be deeply missed. David & Rosita bonita.

Our deepest condolences to the Maldonado family!
Beverly will be missed by so many of us. I remember the times I would take my grandchildren to visit her at home, they were so little and loved and enjoyed Beverly's laughter and her homemade food. The great times we had when we went to Dallas on a tour and the time that we traveled to Canada was such a joy. We laughed so much, and we all had a great time. The time that we were all at your big birthday celebration, held in Kyle, what a joy, with the mariachi's and the excellent meal for your 71st birthday. It was awesome to have your whole family together. The time we all went to the valley to your son's wedding. Such a beautiful and fun trip. I will miss your beautiful face with you wearing the beautiful colorful colors that you liked. The bright yellow, pink, teal and the reds. The times that we would all sing Christmas Carols in Kyle for Christmas. It hurts to not be able to see you; however, we will always have beautiful memories of you and your laughter. I miss your phone calls already. Rest in Peace Beverly and we will all see you in heaven sometime..

Beverly will always be in our hearts. We will continue missing her, but we know she is enjoying 100% health in the arms of Jesus and for that we thank our Heavenly Father.
She was a stoic woman who held firmly to her convictions, and that is an incredibly admirable trait. She was a woman of faith and did everything in her power to convey that faith to others. She worked diligently for our Guadalupana Society and was always the first to make constructive suggestions for the better of our organization.
Beverly, I will forever remember you sporting your beautiful beanies and winter hats! You were beautiful to us and now you are perfect before God. Heaven is yours!
