Obituary of Feliz Gomez Martinez

Our Beloved Feliz Martinez, age 82, of Austin, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, December 12, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ormidez and Alvina Gomez; daughter, Christine Martinez; and siblings, San Juana Gomez and Victor Gomez, Sr.

She is survived by her loving husband, Rudolfo Martinez; children, Daniel G. Martinez and wife, Brenda, Rudy Martinez and partner, Alfred Engstrand, and Albert G. Martinez and wife, Melinda; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

 Feliz is also survived by her siblings, Vicenta Niño, Isabel Gonzales, Father Roy Gomez, Jesse Gomez, and Margaret Arriaga.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Mission Funeral Home – South Chapel located at 6204 South First Street, Austin, Texas 78745. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 17, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church located at 9322 FM 812, Austin, TX 78719. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
