Our loving father Felix Castillo age 86 has gone to meet his master. His wife Lena Arechiga Castillo preceded him in death.Felix had a heart of gold and a great love for his family. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was known for wearing his custom made hats, country music, western attire and especially his Budweiser. The ladder years of Felix?s life was spent at Austin Nursing Center where he resided.
?The gift of love is a treasure whose value cannot be diminished by death?. Felix leaves to cherish his memory One Sister; Rose Scoma of Dallas, TX., his loving daughters; Mrs. Martha Garcia and husband Frank of Dallas, TX., Mrs. Marie Velasquez and husband Roy of Austin, Mrs. Carole Valdez and husband Rudy of Austin, Mrs. Grace Castro and husband David of Tomball, TX., Mrs. Nora Ventura and husband Louis of Red Oak, TX.. He is also survived by 18 Grandchildren, 21 Great-Grandchildren, 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Recitation of rosary Thursday 7:30pm at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday 10:00am at St. Julia Catholic Church. Mgsr. Lonnie Reyes will officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be his Grandsons Roy and Steven Velasquez, David and Albert Castro, Luis and Leonard Ventura.
