Obituary of Charles O'Neil Nichols

Our Beloved Charles O'Neil "Uncle Bill" Nichols age 82, of Austin, Texas was called Home by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, December 6, 2018, surrounded by his loved ones.

Charles was retired from TASB; he was also a veteran of the United States Army.

Uncle Bill was a very loving and special father, brother, husband, uncle, and grandfather. He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by numerous close family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Levi C. Nichols and Levada Gordon Nichols, his siblings: James Clarence Nichols, Lester "Jim" Nichols, Helen M. Luckey, Ernestine J. Jones, Audrey B. Jackson, Otis Truman Nichols, and James "Puchie" Nichols. 

He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years Rosa Mora-Nichols, children Charles "Randy" (Cheryl), Anthony "Tony" (Mika), and Serena D'Anne (Antoine), grandchildren Sylvia, Tony, Nevaeh, and Neamiah; sisters Alice Lemons and Johnnie Mae Johnson, and numerous other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.; Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel - Austin 6204 South First Street, Austin, Texas 78745

Scripture Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 14, 2018, officiated by Deacon John Limon at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel - Austin; 6204 South First Street, Austin, Texas 78745.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Friday December 14, 2018  with U.S. Army Honors at Cook Walden Capital Parks - Pflugerville; 14501 N IH 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660.

Pall Bearers: Anthony "Tony" Lee, Robert Wayne Johnson, Juan Angel Mora, Terry Holley, Mario Alcozer, Jr., and Kenneth "Kenny" Lee.
