Our Beloved Marcela Irais Vasquez, age 35, of El Paso, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, November 30, 2018.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 3 years Mauricio Tovar Vasquez III; her loving parents William and Alma Ljungdahl; her devoted dogs Lucas & Luna; and numerous other loving family and friends.

Marcela lived the past 18 years of her life in Austin, Texas, and graduated from St. Edward’s University with B.A. and M.B.A. in Accounting, and settled in East Austin. She worked at Silicon Labs as an Accounting Supervisor in the Finance Department. Marcela was an active participant in various non-profits organizations including Brain Power 5K and Head for the Cure. 

A Memorial Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 11:00 a.m., followed by Moments of Reflection, on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Mission Funeral Home – South located at 6204 South First Street; Austin, Texas 78745.
