Obituary of Eugene & Ida Martinez

Our beloveds Eugene, age 85, and Ida Martinez, age 81, of Austin were called to our Heavenly Father on November 26 and November 27, 2018 respectively.  They were preceded in death by their parents, Lawence and Esther Reyes and Sabino and Maria Paula Ruiz and their siblings and in-laws, Lawrence Reyes, Jr., Johnny Reyes, Consuelo Duran, Hortencio Moreno, Porfelio Martinez, and Sabino Ruiz, Jr..

Eugene and Ida are survived by their loving children, Deborah Garza and her husband, Steve, Paul Martinez and his wife, Janet, Daniel Martinez and his wife, Sheryl, Michael Martinez and his wife, Minnie, Manuel Martinez, and Jeffrey Martinez; their siblings and in-laws, Dora Duran, Cruz Vera, Isabel Alvarez, Cherela Martinez, and Mary Esther Aguire; 21 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild, and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Honored Pallbearers will be Manuel Martinez, Ryan Munoz, CJ Martinez, Nicholas Martinez, Brandon Martinez, Aidan Pham, Jacob Fernandez, Harry Mendez, Juan Perez, Anthony Duran, Jesse Duran, and Steve Garza, Jr.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Friday, November 30, 2018, with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 1, 2018 at St. Julia Catholic Church, 900 Tillery St., Austin, Texas.  There will be an hour of viewing beginning at 12:00 p.m. at St. Julia Catholic Church prior to mass at 1:00 p.m.. Burial will follow at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery, 14501 IH 35, Pflugerville, Texas.
