Obituary of Hector Manuel Ortiz, Sr.

Our beloved Hector Manuel Ortiz, Sr., age  67, resident of Austin, Texas, was called to our Heavenly Father on Friday, November 23, 2018.  He was preceded in death by his father, Hector Ortiz and his brother-in-law, Ramiro Rogerio.

Hector is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Rita Ortiz; his beloved mother, Geneva Ortiz; his son, Hector Manuel Ortiz, Jr.; his daughters, Geneva Ortiz and her husband, Frank Chapa, and Sara Ortega and her husband, Ralph; five grandchildren, Hector Manuel Ortiz III and his wife, Karna, Isaiah Rodriguez, Mariah Jaramillo, Anthony Jaramillo, Jr., and Joseph Ortega; two great grandchildren, Gianna Jaramillo and Ivy Ortiz; his siblings, Helen Williams, Cora Rogerio, Joann Carlos and her husband, Frank, and John Ortiz and his wife, Elsie; and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Memorial visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Scripture Service beginning at 12:00 noon, Friday, November 30, 2018 at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas.
