Obituary of Tommie O. Ramirez

Our Beloved Tommie O. Ramirez, age 80, of Austin, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 14, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Juan Gaona; parents, Gilberto "Blue" Ortiz and Luisa Rivera Ortiz; and brother, Antonio “Tony” Ortiz.

Tommie is survived by her children, Rudy Ramirez and wife, Cheryl Orsak, Joann Lopez and husband, Richard, Rebecca Ramirez, Debra Rojas, and Robert Ramirez and his wife, Mary; grandchildren, Benjamin Orsak, Gregory Orsak-Ramirez, Erica Trevino, Jason Trevino, Felipa Trevino, Stephanie Lopez, Gabriel Lopez, Michael Ramirez, Robert Reyes, Jeffrey Reyes, Jennifer Reyes, Makayla Fabian, Ashley Ramirez, Jessica Brantley, Ralph Rojas, Laura Rojas, Beatrice Rojas, Jessica Patino, Edgar Patino, Christopher Ramirez, and Samantha Ramirez; Great Grandchildren, Evalinda Orsak, Fiona Orsak,Victoria Trevino, Joseph Zapata, Justine Zapata, Raquel Zapata, Ariana Arevalo, Juliana Arevalo, Isabella Trevino, Annabell Trevino, Elizabell Trevino, Rudy Lucero, RaeAnn Lucero, Johnathon Castillo, Jacob Lopez, Theodore Lopez, Jeffrey Reyes Jr., Alexis Reyes, Donnie Gibson, Darius Reyes, Darrion Alexander, Andre Houston, Brianna Alexander, Aiden Ramirez, Nathaniel Rojas, Natalie Rojas, Noah Rojas, King Caleb Rojas, Layla Rojas, Christopher Gutierrez, Steven Guerrero Jr., Monica Knotts, Aria Patino, and Caleb Patino; Great-Great Grandchildren, Phoenix Spires, Athena Hamilton, Niclaus Hamilton, Zaira Bautista, Zaiden Bautista, Laila Lopez, Zaiden Castillo, Rowen Castillo, and Kali Lucero. 

Tommie is also survived by her siblings, Elida O. Medellin and husband, Thomas, Martina O. Deleon and husband, Antonio, Reyes O. Rodriguez, and Ofelia O.Hernandez and husband, Frank. 

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Mission Funeral Home – South Chapel located at 6204 South First Street, Austin, Texas 78745. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at San Jose Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
