Obituary of Arturo A. Vargas, Jr.

Our Beloved Arturo A. Vargas Jr., age 74, of Pflugerville, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, November 13, 2018.

He was preceded in death by his parents Arturo Vargas and Aurora Alvarado Vargas; his son Arturo R. Vargas III and his daughter Norma Gonzales.

He is survived by his daughters Aurora Hernandez and Monica Flores; sons-in-law Arthur Flores and Robert Gonzales; sister and brother-in-law Angie and Daryl Collins; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and numerous other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 16, 2018 at Mission Funeral Home – South Chapel located at 6204 South First Street, Austin, Texas 78745. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at San Jose Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery with U.S. Army Honors.
