Obituary of Elias T. Gallardo III

Our Beloved Elias T. Gallardo III, age 81, of Austin, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 4, 2018.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elias Jr. and Blasa Gallardo; siblings, Nicholas Gallardo, Alice Montana, and Joe Gallardo.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Guadalupe Gallardo; children, Linda Hernandez and husband, Homer, Arthur Gallardo and wife, Elida, Teresa Mendez and husband, Larry, and Anna Gallardo; grandchildren, Christina, Angelina, Erica, M.J., Eleuterio Elias, Johnny, and Joe; and 11 great grandchildren. Elias is also survived by his siblings, Mary Gonzales, Katy Sanchez and husband, Juan, Frances Loera, Lupe Govea and husband, Dan, Virginia Jenkins and husband, Charlie, Johnnie Gallardo and wife, Linda, and Rose Jackson. Elias is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 South 1^st  St., Austin, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, November 8, 2018, at Dolores Catholic Church, 1111 Montopolis Dr, Austin, Texas.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas.
