Obituary of Braulio Quintanilla, Jr.

Our Beloved Braulio “Bobby” Quintanilla Jr., age 55, of Austin, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, October 25, 2018.

Bobby was a true Austinite through and through with a passion for great music especially the guitar and he was an avid U.T. fan and supporter. He had a passion for life and was a free spirit who inspired others to always keep a positive outlook at all challenges one faces. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him but especially his mother who he loved deeply.

He was preceded in death by his father Braulio Quintanilla Sr. and brother Daniel Quintanilla.

He is survived by his mother and step-father Maria Celia Villarreal-Quintanilla and Pedro Noyola; his children Trevor (Katie) Quintanilla, Trisha Quintanilla, Sierra Jane Quintanilla, Noah Angel Quintanilla and Lacey (Chance) Barkley; grandchildren Charli Nicole, Dixie Ann, Quinn, Bo and Evie; siblings Sammy Quintanilla, Maria Quintanilla, and Leticia Quintanilla; and numerous other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Mission Funeral Home – South located at 6204 South First Street; Austin, Texas 78745. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 29, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
