Obituary of Josephine Barrientos

Our Beloved Josephine Barrientos, age 63, of Austin, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, October 7, 2018 in Round Rock, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joe A. Ortiz and Velma Duffy Ortiz; and sisters Linda Martinez and Mary Lou.

She is survived by children and their spouses: Jennie and J.J. Garcia, Frances and Eddie Melendez, Joann and Mike Batawala, and Joseph Ortiz; siblings Florence Corralejo, Arlene Ortiz, Darlene Bryand, and Valentino Ortiz; grandchildren: Albert Torres, Rafael Melendez, Zamir Batawala, Rahil Batawala, Raheem Batawala, Jonathan Ortiz, and Leticia Ortiz; and great grandchildren Albert Torres Jr., Ariana Marie Torres, Aiden Ray Torres; and numerous other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. with Funeral Services beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2018  at Mission Funeral Home – South Side, 6204 South First Street;  Austin, Texas 78745.

This will conclude services.
