Obituary of Paula Torres Amaro

Our Beloved Paula Torres Amaro, age 78, of Austin, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, October 6, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Carolina Torres; daughter, Emma Cortez; siblings, Elida Garza, Joe Torres, and Larry Torres; and grandparents, Isidro and Cruz Arismendez

She is survived by her loving husband, Claude Amaro, Sr.; children, Claude Amaro, Jr. and wife, Norma, Jo Anne Amaro, Michael Amaro, Paulaann Amaro and wife, Jannette, and Leo Milton Amaro and wife, Analisa; siblings, Gloria Fabian, Milton Torres, Jr., Adela Martinez, Lisa Navarro, Robert Torres and husband, Manuel, Linda Hernandez and husband, David,Roy Torres, and Estella Martinez; 18 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren; aunt and uncle, Mary and Juan Loera. Paula is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Thurssday, October 11, 2018 with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas 78745. Scripture Service will begin at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 12, 2018, at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St.,. Austin, Texas 78745. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
