Jose N. Padron (“Joe”), age 61 of Austin, Texas, passed away on September 30, 2018 from a brief brush with cancer. He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymundo V. Padron and Adelina Serna. Joe is survived by his siblings Reymundo (Jeanne), San Juanita Nicholson, Rosario, Esequiel “Chuck”, Ricardo, Roberto, Daniel (Regina), Adrian, Jovito Leon, Jr. (Elizabeth), a large extended family, and many friends.

Joe brought a warm, giving, humorous, and unforgettable presence wherever he went. He enjoyed his career with the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel in Grand Rapids, MI and then the Sheridan Hotel and J.W. Marriott in Austin. For fun, he loved sports, the outdoors, good times, and spending time with his family and friends.
Joe had a private viewing on October 3 followed by cremation. He will always be remembered as a beloved brother, uncle, and friend.
